This is a log of our financial investment. Specifically investments in stocks, options and FOREX currencies, and the analysis and thinking that went into the investment decisions. This site is primarily going to capture our trading activities and provide information, tips and insight to anyone who is interested in trading.
Our backgrounds are in various different fields. However, a common thread among our group is a keen interest in investments and particularly trading in Options and FOREX. The group has an average of over fifteen years each in investing in the stocks, options and FOREX markets globally.
Our investment philosophy is based on a combination of long-term and short-term approach. We like to lock in short-term gains to manage risk in the investments. We are typically OK to give up on some upside in order to manage risk well. Thus, at the slightest hint of the market potentially going the wrong way than what we are betting on, we have no hesitation in reversing gears and taking action. For the most part we do not subscribe to the buy and hold strategy.
We are expecting this log to keep us straight, document our analysis, thoughts and reasoning and help us learn from mistakes and be a journal that may ultimately even end up helping others. We do also expect to connect with other investors and traders through this log and learn from them.
